Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By using the services provided by ByteMyPC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all device repairs, including smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles.

2. No Fix, No Fee Policy

We operate on a "No Fix, No Fee" basis. If we are unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for the service.

Furthermore, we do not charge for diagnostics or investigations. If, after our investigation, you choose not to proceed with the recommended repair or if the device is deemed beyond economical repair, you will not be charged a diagnostic fee. Our goal is to provide a completely risk-free service for our customers.

3. Warranty

We provide a 14-day warranty on all repair services and parts provided by us. This warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship under normal use.

4. Data Liability

The customer must always ensure they have a full backup of their data before submitting a device for repair. While we take every precaution to protect your information, ByteMyPC shall not be held liable for any data loss, corruption, or privacy breaches that occur during the repair process.

5. Abandoned Devices

Devices left in our possession for more than 90 days following a notification of repair completion or a quote refusal will be considered abandoned. ByteMyPC reserves the right to sell abandoned devices to recover costs of services rendered. Additionally, holding and storage charges may apply for devices not collected within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Shipping and Transit

ByteMyPC covers the shipping costs for the device. We prioritize secure, tracked methods to ensure your device reaches us and is returned to you safely. However, we recommend customers package their devices securely to prevent transit damage.

7. Replacement Parts

We use genuine Apple parts wherever possible. Other parts are acquired from reputable third-party stores. Where necessary, we will attempt to copy original hardware identifiers (e.g., serialization) to the new part to maintain system features; however, we cannot guarantee full software functionality or the absence of "unknown part" messages following such transfers.

8. Payment Terms

Payment must be received in full before the device is released to the customer or shipped back. We accept major credit/debit cards and digital wallets through our secure payment terminal.

By submitting your device for repair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
